Claudia Galati

Journalistic work. Enrolled to the Italian National Order of Journalists Publicists since 2009.

As a freelance journalist she has collaborated with several online news magazines (Il Corriere Laziale, Controlacrisi, Imperial Bulldog), writing about culture (theatre, dance, music, cinema, literature), environment, sport, anthropology, society, health and news.

Since June 2010 she is Editor-in-Chief of “Tango In Roma”, a cultural magazine co-founded with Carlo D’Andreis.

Degrees. Bachelor degree in Literature, Music and Performing Arts in 2006; master’s degree in Journalism in 2009, both at the Faculty of Literature and Philosophy, University “La Sapienza” in Rome.

Spoken/known languages. English, French, Spanish and Chinese.

Awards received. Prize category: Tango and Communication in Rome – “Award for editorial and on web divulgation of the Argentine Tango culture”, under the patronage of: the Embassy of the Republic of Argentina in Italy, Roma Tango Festival, Play Dance Events and Spazio Diamante (March 16, 2013).

Artistic skills and competences. Study of piano for 12 years; study of Argentine Tango for 4 years; taking lessons of Corean traditional dance since 2 years; studying Corean percussion instruments (pungmul) since 1 year; stage workshop on the theatrical adaptation of William Shakespeare’s “The Merchant of Venice” with the masks of the Comedy of Art (2018).

Da giugno 2010 è Direttrice Responsabile e redattrice del periodico bimestrale: Tango In Roma, rivista co-fondata insieme a Carlo D’Andreis.
